L-Punkt was created out of a need for a safe space for lesbian, bisexual and queer women* at Zurich’s universities. A steadily increasing group of people were beginning to meet even before the official founding of the association in 2011. L-Punkt was recognized by the VSETH in 2013 and became an associate of VSETH in 2016.

The members are as diverse as the association’s activities. The diversity of the group’s members ranges from the queer psychology student, over the bisexual Engineer to the trans* English student. We meet each other as equals without prejudice. When joining us you’ll find a warm atmosphere and a lot of fun. It’s important to us to enjoy a laid-back time together without unnecessary rules.

If you are new in town and looking for people who accept you just the way you are or just want to meet a bunch of crazy women – L-Punkt is the perfect association for you! We welcome everyone, no matter if you are going/went to any university. The most important thing is to be interested in meeting new people, socializing and having a great time. The group’s activities can be joined regularly or occasionally, with or without membership.

If you are interested, please contact us and join us for a monthly dinner. We are looking forward to meeting you!

The asterisk is supposed to stop the reading flow and raise awareness that gender identity can correspond to or differ from norms associated with the sex we are assigned at birth.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered to put a face to L-Punkt with their photos.
